Rye Bread with Caraway Seeds




  Ingredients

2 cups of bread Flour
1 cup of Rye Flour
1 Tbs sugar
1 and a

1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp Yeast
1 1/2 Tbsp Caraway seeds
1 Tbs Olive Oil
11 to 13 oz of water - depends on the humidity. Use less when humidity is higher!

Recipe makes 2!

First, mix the flour (bread and rye) together in a mixing bowl, add sugar, salt, instant yeast and the caraway seeds. Then, add the olive oil followed by gradually adding the water till it is all a sticky mess!  Cover with a plastic wrap or kitchen cloth and let is stand for 8-12 hours.


Nature will work it's wonders!

12 hours later, slowly  punch out the air and divide into 2. Then shape the dough into logs and let is stand for an hour or until it is risen double it's original size.



 Preheat oven @450 deg F for 30 mins before baking the bread. Bake bread for 30 minutes.
